What is Maliang Writer?
Maliang Writer is a human-AI writing platform for long novels. You decide where the story goes; it continues the prose from your earlier chapters, tracks changes to characters and story elements, and checks chapters for problems. What each chapter covers and what gets changed is always confirmed by the author.
Why do AI-written long novels contradict themselves, and how does Maliang handle it?
Deep into a long novel, power levels, who holds what, running numbers, and in-story dates are all in flux—relying on model memory alone invites continuity errors. After each chapter, Maliang Writer builds that chapter's archive from the text: current character and story-element states, running numbers, and the timeline. Anything the text hasn't established isn't invented, and anything that clashes with your existing story bible is flagged for you to judge which version stands.
Can the AI continuation pick up from prose I wrote myself?
Yes. Before continuing, it reads your earlier prose, the chapter outline, and the current records for the characters and story elements involved, then writes to your sentence length, paragraphing, and voice. How close it can get depends on your samples, so providing a few chapters in your own hand first is recommended.
If the AI edits my draft, can I see what changed and undo it?
Yes. When the AI edits a chapter you have open, the editor shows a before-and-after comparison so you can keep or revert paragraph by paragraph. If a whole round misses, undo the round or revise your request and resend. Undoing a round restores your manuscript to before that message, including any manual edits made afterward; the interface explains the scope before you confirm.
Can it help with character profiles and worldbuilding?
Yes. Character profiles spell out what each person wants, what they fear, and how they speak when things happen—not just personality labels. When starting a book, you can reference how popular books in the same genre cast their characters, then adjust for your story. Worldbuilding, power systems, and factions are managed in one place, and later chapters log changes to character states, relationships, and foreshadowing in the archive.
How does Maliang Writer's multi-agent writing divide the work?
The main assistant you talk with works out the plot and assigns tasks; a dedicated writer agent drafts the prose; after a chapter is done, an archivist agent updates character records, foreshadowing, and the timeline from the text; and when needed, separate tasks handle research or independent review. The division shifts with the task, while direction and trade-offs always stay with the author.
Can AI-tone removal guarantee I'll pass platform detection?
No. Maliang Writer avoids vague summaries, formulaic endings, and odd punctuation while drafting, and afterward you can run chapter diagnostics and AI-tone rewriting—but no text processing is equivalent to a third party's detection result or a platform's review decision.
Is Maliang Writer free?
Signing up earns trial credits, enough to write your first chapter free. Higher allowances and some advanced features require a subscription; see the Pricing page for details.
