Terms of Service

Effective date: March 14, 2026 · Service provider: 上海欧克安文化传媒有限公司

This page is a translation. If anything differs, the Simplified Chinese version prevails.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (the “User” or “you”) and 上海欧克安文化传媒有限公司 (the “Company” or “we”; Unified Social Credit Code 91310113MAEK3MT877; registered address: 上海市宝山区市一路 199 号 1-4 楼) concerning your registration for and use of maliangwriter.com and the Maliang Writer family of products (together, the “Service”). Please read them carefully before use. By ticking to consent or continuing to use the Service, you accept these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

The Service is provided by the Company on its own multi-agent collaboration architecture (including modules for three-level outlines, knowledge graphs, story-bible management, pacing analysis, AI detection and de-AI-flavour rewriting) and offers you an AI writing SaaS for web-novel and fiction authors, offering novel outlines, chapter blueprints, AI content generation, knowledge-graph story-bible management, plot simulation, AI detection and de-AI-flavour rewriting, and related digital content production services.

The Company may, as its business requires, adjust or retire the functions, form, entry points and prices of the Service. We will announce such changes through on-site announcements, email or the “Effective date” on this page.

2. Account registration and security

  • You must provide true, accurate and complete registration information and are responsible for the security of your account.
  • Impersonating others, falsifying an entity, registering in bulk or transferring accounts is prohibited.
  • If you notice anything abnormal with your account, notify us immediately; otherwise you bear any resulting loss.
  • For risk-control reasons we may temporarily freeze or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

In using the Service you promise to comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the core socialist values, and agree not to use the Service to do any of the following:

  • Produce, generate or spread content prohibited by laws and regulations, including but not limited to politically sensitive, pornographic, violent or terrorist content, cult material, gambling and drugs.
  • Infringe others’ copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights or other lawful rights and interests.
  • Reverse engineer, bypass billing mechanisms, abuse API interfaces or scrape the content of the Service in bulk.
  • Use scripts or automated tools to obtain credits, trial quotas or sign-up rewards without authorisation.
  • Launch attacks on the Service such as DDoS, CC, injection or brute-force attacks.

If you violate the above, we may immediately stop the service, deduct credits, ban the account and reserve the right to pursue liability in accordance with the law.

4. Intellectual property

Your content: the original works you create through the Service, such as novel text, chapter blueprints, settings, knowledge graphs and conversation records (together, “User Content”), remain yours with all related copyright and rights. You grant the Company a free, non-exclusive, sublicensable, worldwide licence solely for: (i) the extent necessary to provide storage, generation, search, display and similar services under your account; (ii) presenting your content to other users in the way you choose when you publish or share it.

The Company’s content: the software code, prompt templates, agent orchestration, knowledge-base samples, UI design, trademarks, brand, documentation and tutorials of the Service, and the intellectual property in them, belong to the Company or the respective rights holders; they may not be copied, modified or used commercially without written authorisation.

AI-generated content: AI-generated output is a “machine-assisted product”; who owns the copyright in it under Chinese law is determined by the latest interpretation of judicial rules. You are responsible for reviewing your own use and publication for compliance.

5. Paid services, subscriptions and refunds

  • The Service offers a free trial quota and several paid subscription / top-up plans; the subscription page prevails for the details.
  • Entitlements are activated immediately after payment. Because a subscription is “immediately usable and irreversibly consumed”, subscription fees are non-refundable once paid, except where the Company has expressly promised otherwise or laws and regulations provide otherwise.
  • If the service is unavailable for a long time because of the Company, we will compensate with credits of equal value, or extend the subscription period, in proportion to the unused portion.
  • Price changes will be announced in advance; the new price applies only to orders placed after the change, and subscriptions already in effect continue at the original price until they expire.

6. Third-party services and disclaimer

  • The Service relies on third-party AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Alibaba Tongyi, DeepSeek, Zhipu and others). AI-generated output may contain factual errors, bias or inappropriate content and is for reference only.
  • You bear all legal responsibility for your use, derivative creation and public release of AI-generated content.
  • The Company is not liable for losses caused by third-party provider failures, network outages or force majeure.
  • The Company is not liable for your indirect losses, lost profits or lost business opportunities, and its total liability is capped at the service fees you actually paid to the Company in the past 12 months.

7. Changes, suspension and termination of the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or retire part or all of the Service at any time, and will give at least 7 days’ notice of major changes. If you violate these Terms or laws and regulations, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account and reserve the right to pursue liability under these Terms. You may apply to close your account at any time in account settings; after closure, your personal information will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring a lawsuit in the people’s court with jurisdiction at the Company’s place of registration (Baoshan District, Shanghai).
