Frequently asked questions
Is this an official preview from a reading app?
No. This is a generic mobile reading preview for checking density, paragraphs, and page turns. A reading app's own fonts and settings can still break lines differently, so the final display is whatever the app itself shows.
Will it upload my manuscript or edit my chapter?
No. Your text is laid out only in this browser. No model is called, and nothing is written back to your chapter. Only reading preferences like font size and spacing are saved; text you type in by hand and local fonts are never saved automatically.
Why might line breaks change on another computer?
Fonts directly affect how many words fit on a line. Built-in fonts keep results steady across devices; system or imported fonts may break lines differently. You can also import a font you have the right to use, for this page only.
How much text, and which files, are supported?
Work chapter by chapter: up to 50,000 characters and 5,000 paragraphs. Paste directly or import TXT; older TXT files can be read by choosing the GB18030 encoding manually. Word, EPUB, and automatic whole-book chapter splitting are not supported yet. Anything over the limit gets a clear warning — your draft is never silently cut.
What happens to existing leading spaces and blank lines?
Existing leading whitespace never stacks with auto-indent. Generic reading shows blank lines exactly as they are. Your source text itself is never modified.
